Resizing text

If the text is too small (or too big) for you to comfortably read then you can resize it accordingly using your browser settings. Instructions are given for the latest versions of major browsers below:

Internet Explorer

• From the Page menu choose Text Size and choose the size you want. OR

• Alternatively you can hold down the ctrl key and press the + key to increase the text size. Use the ctrl key with the – (minus) key to reduce the text size

Firefox

• From the View menu choose Zoom. Select the appropriate option from the zoom menu. OR

• Hold down the ctrl key and press the + key to increase the text size. Use the ctrl key with the – (minus) key to reduce the text size.

Opera

• From the View menu choose Zoom. Select the appropriate option from the zoom menu. OR

• Use the + key to increase the text size and the – minus key to reduce it.

Google Chrome

• Hold down the ctrl key and press the + key to increase the text size. Use the ctrl key with the – (minus) key to reduce the text size.

Safari

• From the View menu Select either Make Text Bigger or Make text smaller. OR

• Use the Command key and + to increase text size. Use the Command key with – (minus) to reduce text size.

Changing the colour scheme

Using BrowseAloud

PC or Mac:

To launch the BrowseAloud toolbar click the BrowseAloud icon that appears on the top right hand side of this website to launch the browsealoud toolbar then simply click any text to hear it read aloud.

Smartphone or Tablet:

To launch the BrowseAloud toolbar on your tablet or smartphone click the BrowseAloud icon that appears at the bottom of your screen to launch the browsealoud toolbar then simply click any text to hear it read aloud.
