Performances – Nicholas Culpeper: The original college dropout
These family friendly sessions involve a bit of audience participation and are always good fun. Performances run every day except Sundays at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm.
Nicholas Culpeper dreamed of being a doctor but his father wasn’t having any of it and forced him to study theology instead! However, after a close encounter with a lightning bolt, Nicholas abandoned the church for life as a professional herbalist. Join him as he shares stories from his pioneering work in herbal medicine, his clashes with the medical establishment and how anybody who disagreed with him was an idiot!
